Can I sign in with Google if I already have an email/password account?

Yes — when the **same verified email** is used, Cadastre Home keeps one account. Sign in with Google from [/login](/login) or connect Google under [Dashboard → Profile → Manage sign-in methods](/dashboard/security/sign-in-methods). A different Google email creates a separate account.

What is “Talk to Doc”?

Ask Doc is an optional AI assistant on our public website and signup pages (not a human). Choose Voice (microphone) or Chat (text only, no mic). Before you start, we show a short disclosure about AI use and recording. Doc answers sales and onboarding questions about Cadastre Home. Do I need an account to try the demo?

Is the demo the same interface I get when I sign up?

Yes. The demo is a real property vault running the same dashboard workflow your account uses — read-only for visitors. When you create a free account, you get the full editable workspace for your own home.

Is the Insurance tab required?

No. Insurance tracking is optional — you can skip it anytime from the Insurance tab without losing capture, verify, export, or professional share. When enabled, Basic+ stores limits and policy PDFs; Plus Safe+ adds gap analysis and disclosure links for agents and attorneys.

Are replacement-cost lookups unlimited?

No. Basic includes 10 RCV lookups per month; Plus Safe includes 150; Pro Vault includes 300. Each lookup uses a paid retail-pricing API, so limits reset on the 1st of each month. Regional hazard refreshes are Plus Safe+ (12/mo on Plus Safe, 60/mo on Pro Vault). Extra properties scale your monthly allowances.

Concierge Capture is $799 for a standard-home partner shoot (launch promo $679). Concierge Care is $249/year for priority booking — maintenance visits are $374 for Care members or $559 walk-up. Concierge services require Plus Safe or Pro Vault; Concierge Capture checkout can bundle Plus Safe if you are not already on a spatial plan. Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. DIY subscriptions can be canceled through the Stripe billing portal. You keep access through the end of your billing period. Concierge Care renews annually and can be canceled before renewal.

Cancel anytime — monthly plans are not refunded for unused days. Annual plans include a 14-day refund on your first purchase if you have not used paid features (exports, AI processing, adjuster share links). I received a partner gift voucher — how do I use it?

Use the gift link your partner sent (it opens [signup](/signup) with your voucher code in the URL). The voucher auto-applies on one eligible paid checkout toward a Cadastre Home subscription, Concierge Capture, Concierge Care, or add-ons. Concierge and add-ons require Plus Safe or Pro Vault first. The discount is capped at that checkout price — unused value does not carry over. Gift vouchers cannot be combined with other promo codes. Vouchers have no cash value and are non-refundable.

Each property is a unique insured location — a primary home, rental, vacation property, or condo. Outbuildings (detached garage, shed, shop) count under the same property. All plans include 1 property. On Plus Safe or Pro Vault, add up to 2 more with a property add-on ($309/yr on Plus Safe, $559/yr on Pro Vault) — 3 properties total per self-serve account. Consumer plans are for personal residences you own, occupy, or insure; brokers, resellers, and property-management portfolios should use [Partner Wallet](/closing-partners/join) or [contact us about volume pricing](/contact?subject=volume-pricing).

When do I need to upload two Insta360 files?

Usually you do not. Most .insp photos and 360° captures contain both lenses in one file. Only some 5.7K exports split into two tracks (_00_ and _10_) — if you see a matching pair in the Insta360 app folder, select both together when uploading.

Creating a new plan in the Cadastre editor (draw, trace-over-image, optional Bluetooth laser in the native app) requires Plus Safe or Pro Vault. Concierge Capture can deliver a professional plan on any tier. Published plans appear in agent share and forensic PDF exports when your tier includes those features.

Do I need a third-party floor plan scan app?

Is a vault backup the same as a forensic PDF?

No. A forensic PDF is adjuster-ready claim documentation with a SHA-256 integrity hash. A vault backup is a complete offline archive of your vault media and data for your records — not re-importable into Cadastre Home.

Does my vault backup include evacuation prep?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every vault backup includes evacuation-priority JSON and document-location JSON (where physical originals are kept — not uploaded files). On Basic+ plans, a fresh evacuation prep PDF is auto-generated per property when you have tagged portable items.

Can I restore from a vault backup?

No. Vault backups are read-only archives for off-site storage. Cadastre Home does not support re-importing backup ZIP files.

If we reassign your booking to another partner, the authorization stays in place until someone accepts or we release it if we cannot find a partner.

Some profiles are sourced from public business information and have not yet been claimed by the firm or agent. Unclaimed listings on [/attorneys](/attorneys), [/agents](/agents), and [/realtors](/realtors) show limited information and use a request-introduction flow instead of a direct contact form. Business owners can claim their listing via the secure link in our outreach email after we verify their email address.
